Hey. I'm Michael. I dabble. I like to record my own music, make video games, do a little web design, and write. I've also experimented with Flash animation. This site was originally an extension of my personal home page. To make a long story short, this is where all of my finished projects will go.

Q: Why did you create this site?

A: I'm a hobbyist. I like to play. This site combines all of my favorite things: Music, humor, games, writing, and wasting time. Originally, Rail! was only going to feature some games I was writing. I wanted to call it Rail.com or Railsoftware.com. Those names were taken by shifty, obese, bespectacled squatters. The closest I could get was Railentertainment.com. Since it had the word entertainment in the name, it evolved into more of an amateur entertainment site. The games will eventually be featured here as they are finished, however.

Q: So why don't you post all of this stuff on your personal home page, like a human?

A: I need somewhere to put my work that isn't as... personal. I also registered the domain name, so I might as well get some use out of it.

Q: Do you have a dollar I can borrow?

A: I just gave you a dollar. It's just going to go towards booze, anyway.
